Located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Local 404 was chartered in 1926 with the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers.

For over 85 years, the Iron Workers of Local Union No. 404 have been constructing bridges, hospitals, schools, power plants, roller-coaster rides and other structures in central Pennsylvania.  Our more than 250 members are proud to continue the tradition of providing the ironworking industry with a hardworking, highly skilled and dedicated workforce.

Local 404 is a mixed local providing skilled craftsmen in every discipline of the Iron working trade.  In partnership with our numerous contractors, we have a dedication to excellence to ensure projects are completed on time and without injury.  We strive to promote a safe work site environment, through our three year Apprenticeship Program and Journeyman Upgrade training, keeping our members in step with the ever changing construction industry.
